All Cottman Transmission centers abide by Cottman's complete service philosophy, which calls for your vehicle's transmission to be repaired properly the first time, so that you don't have to lose either time or money.
We will road test your car, perform our FREE and exclusive TransCheck 21 PLUS Service and examine the transmission pan to determine if your transmission problem can be repaired without the transmission being removed from the vehicle. If it is necessary for your transmission to be "rebuilt", "overhauled", "remanufactured", or "reconditioned", (these are interchangeable terms), a rebuilding procedure will be performed according to our rigid technical standards and backed by our nationwide warranty.
Cottman will never compromise its standards just to make a vehicle "superficially drivable." We will never perform a low quality service that would result in increased costs, inconvenience, and possible hazardous driving conditions for our customers.
Cottman's status, reputation, and growth are a direct result of our commitment to quality standards, parts, and warranties, as well as our commitment to our customers.
Cottman Transmission has sent our ASE Certified Transmission re-builder to the continuing technical training seminar recently held by the Automatic Transmission Re-builders Association aka ATRA in Atlanta. We want our transmission re-builder to be one of the few elite builders in the Atlanta market. ATRA realizes how important it is to stay on top of our game. In fact, it's this technical training that separates our successful shop from all the others. The only way to stay competitive in this industry is to offer our customers what they need the most: reliable and knowledgeable technicians to perform repairs on their vehicle.
ATRA has and continues to improve services that helps our business stay ahead in today's automatic transmission market. The Automatic Transmission Re-builders Association is driven by excellence and we are too!
Cottman Transmission, Marietta, GA recently attended Powertrain Expo 2012, the largest transmission industry trade show in the United States. Hosted by the Automatic Transmission Rebuilders Association (ATRA) and the Automotive Parts Remanufacturing Association (APRA), the event took place recently in Las Vegas. More than 2,000 technicians and business owners attended the event. This was a follow-up to the training seminars that our technicians attended in September done by ATRA with additional material covered.
During the Expo, attendees had the opportunity to be trained by 20 transmission industry, marketing and management experts, including those from ATRA's corporate headquarters. Seminar topics included everything from the latest technologies being used by auto repair shops, to management best practices, to keep our business on top with some of the best skilled and trained technicians in the industry.. Beyond seminars, business owners and service providers had the opportunity to showcase their equipment and services during the event.
"Attending the Expo was an excellent decision on our part, as we learned a great deal from the most experienced technicians and executives ATRA has to offer," said Sue Nicholson, owner of Cottman Transmission. "We feel that we are now even more equipped to provide Marietta and the surrounding Atlanta area with the outstanding transmission repair it deserves."
